Dru Yoga Goes From Strength To Strength

The new group of Dru Yoga recently introduced to the U3A Vall del Pop is certainly becoming a big hit with the members.

Firstly, I have to say that I had never heard of this type of yoga but Sally Millane, our instructor, certainly has a way that makes you feel relaxed and also helps with meditation. Something I think we all need at times. The sessions are suitable for all… like Sally say’s ‘ You don’t need to be a bendy, Wendy’. As she explains ‘Dru Yoga comes from the Sanskrit word dhruva, which refers to stillness. In this stillness you are able to sit back from anything that may be happening around you and see and act from a point of clarity and inner calm’. Our Friday sessions are held at the Pensionista , Xalo from 10:00 and are certainly helping to do this.
